It was also meant to generate revenue so other bigger and more expensive models could be made which Porsche was planning for the future.

Nevertheless, the newest 2018 Porsche Panamera comes to us with a whole new design, with a whole new engine lineup and all the reviews point to a great new successor to the older version.

Exterior Changes

Thanks to the update given for the 2018 Porsche Panamera we have a much better and suitable car at our disposal. The first noticeable change is for the front fascia of the car as it has a lowered nose and pretty of 911-like additions. The lower grille has a new design and added LED turn signals.

The sides of the car provides changes brought to the lower door. There are more prominent creases that in a way fade off the fender vent. Thanks to the revamped quarter window the rear door is also shorter compared to before. The door is also cut farther inward

Changes for the rear end of the car include a much larger more squared-off hatch design, With the added updates to the taillights, bumper and lower fascia we get a completely new look for the back part of the car. The bumper is noticeably based on the one seen for the 911 model.

What are the Interior Changes?

We are witnessing a very nice looking redesign for the interior of the 2018 Porsche Panamera. In fact the reworking has been made here pretty well. It incorporates a new steering wheel with gesture control buttons. Although the doors have more storage to them, they have not changed so much as well as the seats. But there is also added storage in the center console. The layout on the central command is familiar and on the center stack we see a 12-inch display screen replacing the smaller sized one. The instrument cluster is changed but still has the center-mounted tachometer with smaller circular gauges on the sides.

The rear seating area has not changed but we see the center console as completely revised. The armrest seems as if it has been built into the center seatback, while the rear seat command area is a bit taller now. It also features glossy black finishes. To conclude, the inside has been reworked pretty well and it does not seem like your regular Porsche model and we very much like the changes which were brought here.
