2018 Nissan Versa Note Release Date, Facelift, Price

2018 Nissan Versa Note review

It was announced that an updated 2018 Nissan Versa Note is going to be offered in the coming year. This will be a continuation of the second-generation models as the new Versa Note is receiving its first update after the initial release in 2013. The model will first be available in Japan and then it is scheduled to cross the pond and be offered in the North American market.

The original second-gen car was launched in 2012 in Japan and crossed to the US in the coming year. It introduced a new platform, which it shared with the Micra car, and was updated to have more of a hatchback style than an MPV one. When the Note crossed the pond it substituted the current Versa model and was immediately dubbed the Versa Note and at the same time came with a much bigger and powerful engine offer.

This car will borrow some elements form the Sentra, Maxima and Altima models which have already been rebuilt with this new type of design language which Nissan has introduced.

According to the released pictures, the new 2018 Nissan Versa Note looks really fresh compared to before. It manages to offer a great ride and the producers are predicting record sales for this model. We will see how it will all pane out after the release date.

What are the Exterior Changes?

The rear end of the Versa Note is going to carry over unchanged. But the sportier SR trim elements will be transferred to S Plus, SV, and SL models. So all trims, expect the base, will have a sporty bumper, a diffuser-like element and the tailgate spoiler. The higher trim levels also come with a new 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design.

The last piece of the puzzle are the two newly offered exterior colors. With the already existing ones being the Brilliant Silver, Metallic Peacock, Super Black, Cayenne Red, Gun Metallic, Aspen White, and Metallic Blue choices, the two new ones include the Monarch Orange and Deep Blue Pearl.
